Genesis - Music Giveaway

This is cool, I was asked which of the following CD/DVDs I would like to receive to give away to my blog readers. I hope they send me some so I can pass them on to you! I just wrote about Genesis the other day. Anyone going to see them tour this summer??? I haven't decided yet, but financially speaking, probably not.

Rhino Entertainment is excited to announce the release of the 6-CD/6-DVD Genesis box set, Genesis 1976-1982, as well as the release of all 5 individual remastered and expanded albums included in the boxed set, Trick of the Tail, Wind & Wuthering, And Then There Were Three, Duke and Abacab on May 15th.

It doesn't look like I'll be going to any concerts this summer, maybe the entire year. Circumstances just aren't going to present themselves, unfortunately.

I don't typically see big concerts. The last arena show I saw I thin was Roger Waters about ten years ago. I stick to small clubs where it's more personal and I can see some bands who actually need my money. That being said, Genesis wouldn't be high on my list anyway, because I've hated the Phil Collins era. My wife would disagree, so maybe she'd drag me out there...

Fantastic choice! I didn't know about this compilation or that they were touring. I would love to go, but can't say I will. Have you heard of Eva Cassidy? Her album "Songbird" is a must hear....her voice is so pure and magical.

I'm planning on buying the set which I believe is going to come out later in the year which contains the early Genesis (At least I think it is coming out later this year.) I mainly want to get my hands on it because it will be in surround sound and I sure would love to listen to some good prog in surround.
