Happy Birthday, Neil Peart!

Bruce at Mindcrimes has the tour dates for Rush listed on his blog - Ticketmaster doesn't even have any LA dates listed yet but there are 3 here in So Cal and I was happy to see that they will be playing in Irvine - right by my house. Of course I have to go - but this time before I spend a ton of money on tickets I am going to make sure I have someone to go with who is willing to pay their own way (i.e. my sister)

I may end up SELLING one of my Roger Waters tickets and going alone. That sounds depressing, but it really doesn't bother me, I rather go alone than with someone who didn't like the music.

What about you.... Would you ever go to a concert alone?


an unrelated question: a lot of people hold the opinion that Neil Pert is the "best" drummer out there - what do you think?
