41 years ago today on a muddy hill at Yasgur's Farm some stoned hippy freaks witnessed this amazing performance. This very day was the last day of the exposition.

Happy Birthday, Neil! Born 11/12/45
(Special note to Angie, you are right, I forgot! But I heard a belated birthday tribute to him on the radio today so knew I was not toooooooooo late. Thanks, mate, for the head's up from down under!)
I think the cover of my "Decades" album wore so thin I had to tape it up. I loved Neil back in my younger years and still think he's one of the greats.

A friend just reminded me of Neil. I can picture the cover to Harvest and Decade...I wore those albums out listening to them over and over....What a great songwriter.
