So many great concert memories....

Having grown up in the mid west during the sixties and seventies, there were so many good concerts,and most were cheap tickets.5-10 bucks each........

My very fave was MUSIC IN THE PARK.....Comiskey Park, Chicago ...
somewhere around 1977.....

80 some thousand in attendance.....mostly stoned outa the mind...

Show was Molly Hatchet, Eddie Money, Santana, Journey.......

I ate pizza at three in the morn with a very large Chicago policeman......at a diner.....

He helped me find my way........

You're so right. I remember seeing Santana out in California in the early seventies. I recall the ticket being very cheap too, something along the lines of $5. He had just released Abraxas and Oye Como Va and Black Magic Woman brought the house down.

Those were the good old days. In a time of war, we all gathered our music as an outlet. It's a crime today's rock-n-roll isn't as good.
