Who News

The 31st annual Kennedy Center Honors proclaimed ‘The Kids Are Alright’. On Dec. 7th The Who received the coveted Kennedy Center Honor as the first rock band ever to do so.

The award ceremony will be aired Dec. 30th on CBS.

If you read my recent review of "The Who at Kilburn: 1977" you will know that I thought it was phenomenal !!

The Who may have been the first real hard rock band in my opnion. Keith Moon was an absolute monster on the drums and John Entwistle ripped the bass apart. While Townsend and Daltrey still tour under The Who, the band is just not the same without them.

Can they decline? They should decline. I hate to see rock n roll institutionalized.

I got the dvd for Christmas on your recommendation and loved it. I agree with gears that the Who is not the same without Keith and John but seeing Pete and Roger is still joyful.
