Ted Nugent spouts his big mouth off again.

In an article titled ‘The Summer Of Drugs’, the huntin’ ’n’ shootin’ guitarist downed his bow and arrow for long enough to blame "stoned, dirty, stinky hippies" for "rising rates of divorce, high school drop-outs, drug use, abortion, sexual diseases and crime, not to mention the exponential expansion of government and taxes." (taken from Classic Rock)

Here is a summary of the article, I found it quite entertaining especially when he brags about his 59 years of never using drugs or drinking, he certainly encouraged us to do those things back int he 70's, I was there (he did look good in those white spandex pants, I must admit).

Ted is entitled to his opinion and free speech and so am I.

My opinion is that Ted is an arrogant ass.

Each generation has an influence on the next but to blame all these societal problems on one group (that just happens to be the extreme opposite of his pesonality/character) is just silly. You're silly, Ted!

Thanks to where I originally found this item!

It's so nice for me to have found this blog of yours, it's so interesting. I sure hope and wish that you take courage enough to pay me a visit in my PALAVROSSAVRVS REX!, and plus get some surprise. My blog is also so cool! Don't think for a minute that my invitation is spam and I'm a spammer. I'm only searching for a public that may like or love what I write.

Feel free off course to comment as you wish and remember: don't take it wrong, don't think that this visitation I make is a matter of more audiences for my own blogg. No. It's a matter of making universal, realy universal, all this question of bloggs, all the essential causes that bring us all together by visiting and loving one another.

I think it's to UNITE MANKIND that we became bloggers! Don't see language as an obstacle but as a challenge (though you can use the translater BabelFish at the bottom of my page!) and think for a minute if I and the rest of the world are not expecting something like a broad cumplicity. Remenber that pictures talk also. Open your heart and come along!!!!!

I agree with the Nuge on next to nothing, but I have to give him some credit for being willing to express his views in an industry that isn't very friendly to Republicans. He does forget that it was grown-up hippies of the baby Boom generation that elected his buddy Ronald Reagan, not once, but twice!

The bottom line is that America's social ills can be blamed on a lot of things and many do date back to the 1960s. However, there was a lot of good that came out of that era as well. I suppose he'd like to give Barry Goldwater credit for that, huh? Hardly. Anyway, the Nuge is always extreme in his views and that gets him into untenable positions a lot. At least he's thinking though.

I don't agree with most of Uncle Ted's political views, but I admire the fact that he's willing to leave himself out there for criticism.

Ya know I like Uncle Ted and I agree with him on some things. I won't get into what here because I don't want to get jumped, but lately he's become an ASS! He has said some things that I have been left scratching my head at wondering where the hell he's been comming from.

Great guitar player great guy seems like for the most part but is really becoming an ass, plain and simple just like a few other of my favorite musicans about his age. I dunno what's happening, what when you cross over that 50 mark it's time to become an ass is that what it is? Somebody tell me something??
