Round 2 of "Best Album"

This is round 2 of choosing the best album. Reminder, I took this from my radion station, The Sound LA, I did not make it up myself. After we pick the winners from round two they will go up the winners or round one which turned out to be:

Carole King (9) vs Stevie Wonder (3)
Pearl Jam (10) vs Foo Fighters (2)
Jimi Hendrix (11) vs Van Morrison (1)
Green Day (8) vs Oasis (4)
Allman Brothers (8) vs Traffic (3)
Cars (8) vs Pretenders (5) (i feel like a traitor - sorry Chrissie!)
Led Zeppelin (9) vs The Eagles (2)
Nirvana (11) vs Jane's Addiction (2)

ROUND TWO, vote for one:

REM - Automatic For the People vs David Bowie - Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust

Dire Straits - Dire Straits vs. John Mellencamp - Lonesome Jubilee

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here vs. Rolling Stones - Exile on Main St.

Janis Joplin - Pearl vs. Tom Petty - Full Moon Fever

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Californication vs. Black Crowes - Shake Your Money Maker

INXS - Listen Like Theives vs. Paul Simon - Graceland

Genesis - Duke vs. Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill

4. Petty
5. RHCP
6. Paul Simon
7. I don't really like either but if I had to pick one I would pick Genesis. Just because their early work was phenomenal.

David Bowie - Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust(I just can't vote for REM; in any poll)

Dire Straits - Dire Straits(Please; this is a no-brainer for me)

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here(not a big Stones fan. Shoot me if you want)

Janis Joplin - Pearl(Janis was one of a kind. Besides, I like the blues.)

Black Crowes - Shake Your Money Maker(RHCP just don't do it for me)

INXS - Listen Like Theives(only because I don't like Simon. Otherwise...)

Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill(I like both bands, but this album is one of those "once in a lifetime" deals. It nkicks major ass)

I couldn't vote for either the Cure or Depeche Mode, because they both blow.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

I HATE #1.....Bowie. And I am pissed cause AFP was better than quite a few on the other list, kthx.

2. Melloncamp. I adore this album it is my favorite from him. Paper in Fire make the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

3. Floyd. Not hard at all.

4. Petty. Much as I love Janis, I love this album by TP more.

5. Crowes. Just had that playing in the car. That album is in my Top 10 all time.

6. INXS although I really love Graceland.

7. Easy peasy, Steely Dan

8. ROFL..the Ultimate Goth Showdown! Well commercial Goth at least. Color me a Cure Girl.

This one strikes me as more influeneced by age than the first one.
