An interesting tidbit about "Black Water"- a local radio station, WROV-AM in Roanoke(now known as WGMN-AM, an ESPN affiliate), was the first station in the country to play the song on the radio(it was originally the B-side to "Another Park , Another Sunday"). It became so popular that the station actually had a hand in Warner Brothers releasing it as a single.

When I saw the Doobies in Roanoke later that year, they publicly thanked WROV for helping to make the song a hit. I thought that was pretty cool.

I would have LOVED to have seen just one of those Pink Floyd shows in 1977.

I'd gve my left nut to have been at that Pink Floyd concert - but I'd only have been 6, and now that I think about it, all those years with only one might be tough.

I saw both PF shows in '77' in Milwaukee at the old County Stadium. They were excellent, as far as I can remember ;-)
