Supertramp

You don't hear much about this band these days, but they were a huge part of my life musically and socially in the 80's. Good time.

Love Supertramp-got all of their albums except for their second one,Indelibly Stamped. Even got a couple of bootlegged concerts.I love to listen to them when I'm in a mellowed out mood.My fav album is Crime of the Century.

Hmm. A bit of a love/hate relationship here. Sometimes they're fine (like Crime of the Century and Breakfast in America) and other times I can't stand them. Strange eh?

Btw why can't I see your Rockin' Bloggers list? (something about subscriptions?)

I enjoyed early Supertramp but the later stuff just got too Pop. I especially like the album "Even in the Quietest Moments". They changed over the years from their very first album which was more progressive to the last which was definitely more popular.

Breakfast in America got played a lot at my high school in the late 70s. Just like Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" and the first Boston LP, seems like everyone had a copy.

One guy at school had a big sister who DJed at rock radio station, and they dug Supertramp - so it had instant cool cache at school.

Drew, nice to know another fan of Supertramp, thanks for the comment!

Obsessive, Strange but not unusual...I feel that way about several bands too.

Dan, Its seems to happen a lot. Sometimes a band keeps going beyond their "prime" or something.
