Kurt Cobain
R.I.P.
“Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are”-Kurt Cobain This quote is very meaningful to me.Come as you are, as you were,As I want you to beAs a friend, as a friend, as an old enemyTake your time, hurry upThe choice is yours, don't be lateTake a rest as a friend as an old memoriaCome dowsed in mud, soaked in bleachAs I want you to beAs a trend, as a friend, as an old memoriaAnd I swear that I don't have a gunNo I don't have a gun

Most of the people that quote tha line would have given anything to be Cobain.
Intersting thought...would you have given anything to be Cobain?
Do you think he was selfish to not appreciate who he was, or maybe just tormented?
Just curious.
I'm not sure that I would, but who wouldn't be tempted?
I think the people who say he was selfish have a misplaced sense of entitlement. I mean, it's a real shame that he killed himself, but not because he owed me or anyone other than his family members anything (yes, even Courtney Love doesn't deserve that, unless you're one of the conspiracy perscribers).
