This will be the first and probably the last time I have had opera on this blog - but someone with this amount of talent transcends genre. Even more shocking - I didn't think I'd ever have Michael Bolton on here either.

He will be missed. Its a sad day in music.

Angie, thank you for the comment. I agree with you. How many other "opera stars" performed with so many different groups! To name a few I can think of:
Queen, James Brown, U2, Byran Adams, Michael Bolton....
