One of my old blog buddies, OCD Man, is posting again so I am taking his question from the other day: In your opinion, who are the five greatest voices in rock and roll?

My answers:

Names that spring to mind when I think "great voices" are...

David Coverdale (pre 1984 vintage!)
Danny Bowes (Thunder)
Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden)
Paul Rodgers
Danny Vaughn

Granted though the likes of Paul McCartney, Robert Plant, Roger Hodgson, Freddie Mercury and many more all have or can have the ability to create that "wow, what a voice" comment!

I'm sure I would change it around more if I thought about it some more but:

Jim Morrison
David Gilmour
Robert Plant
Greg Lake
Jon Anderson

Elvis Presley
Aretha Franklin
Robert Plant
Roger Daltrey

Ask me again tomorrow and I might shift them around.
