The Beatles new LOVE album is an amazing listen. It's a true headphone album; to really hear the magic in the mix, you have to strap on the cans. Once you experience the entire CD, (all 26 tracks,) you feel certain that George Martin really was the 5th Beatle. Sheer genius how he mixed these songs together, bits and pieces of songs you never imagined would fit together. Awesome; a must have this Christmas! - Mike @ CybersMusic
My friend Amy saw the show and said it was phenomenal. Don't throw any rocks - but I'm not a huge Beatles fan. Talented and legendary they are - no argument; they just don't do it for me.It would be great to meet you if you came to Vegas!
I have heard one of the mashups, and it's interesting. I'll give it that. But it's just reworking what's already there, which is never a favorite form of art for me.And I can't find your message from a week or so ago with your request -- please e-mail again when you can so I can ask you to repeat it. Thanks!-- david
Hey Mike, thanks for stopping by here!Lora - no worries, I won't throw any rocks!!! Knowing me I'll never make it up there but it's only about 4 hours away!David, Will do. Thanks for remembering, you are a doll.
I haven't heard it yet Layla, but I've heard some really good reports. You should definitely go and meet your blog pal. I'd love to do an American tour of all my blog buddies. That would be awesome.
I have the CD, but haven't given it a full listen to yet. From what I have heard I really enjoyed it, it's interesting to hear the classic songs with new elements. Also I heard that the show is amazing, I would love to see it. If I were you I would try to take advantage of that.
Haven't heard it yet. I'd love to have a listen.
Layla: I haven't seen a note yet ... but I'll try to act in response to it within a few days of when I do!-- david
If you have a 5.1 surround sound setup, buy the deluxe version. The 5.1 mix is mind blowing. I love this CD...a great new way to appreciate a great band.Sketti skelter
I haven't been this blown away by a new CD in about a decade. I can't recommend it enough.
