I was sent a recent DVD of theirs and it smoked me like salmon. I became a BC convert. If they'd followed they path more closely, they could've been the next Beatles. The foundations are there, for sure. As it is, they're America's last greatest honky tonk rock band.

I saw them open up for ZZ Top in 1990, and they were pretty good live. I could take 'em or leave 'em, though...
hmmmm forced is such a strong word. But hey, if it takes force to get you to listen and appreciate.....then its all good!
