I love, love, LOVE these album covers! Thanks for sharing them. By the way, this summer, we studied the artist who did the illustrations on the "Cheap Thrills" album. But, for the life of me, I've forgotten his name for the moment.

Oh, and...I finally answered your Tag question on my blog, but I didn't play by the rules.

Only for you Barbara. *smile* And thanks for the cd...LOVE IT! Although I'm totally about the indie music, I think classic rock is a close second...

AH, those were the days of real rock'n roll, when artists were too ugly to put their faces or half naked bodies on their album covers. ;)

Did you know that the "Cheap Thrills" album cover art was designed and drawn by Robert Crumb? He's one of my favorite artists, and he's also the charecter drawing in my profile photo. He does great work, although he does tend to get a little perverted at times. His most famous drawing is of the little old man in the 'Keep On Truckin' picture.
