I received my copy of Mothership this week and what can I say - its Zeppelin at their finest - only BETTER. These 2 CDs/DVD have been remastered to bring out the best in the four British blokes that changed musical history back in the 70's.

It's an impressive sonic leap. Where tinny high-ends and muffled lows used to co-exist, fatter and louder depths prevail.
Undertstandably some of us may see our personal favortie missing - most noteably for me "The Ocean". But the songs were handpicked by Plant and Page so I guess I will have to email my complainsts to one them.

Sorry, this time I am keeping the 2 CD discs for myself, but I am expecting some other gems to review and will be giving lots of good stuff away in the near future...its so fun to share music!!!

So Neil, Patti and Bob are my favourite solo artists, but Led Zeppelin are my favourite band. And I'm first in line. Is that good enough?! ;P
Oh well, I'm probably too far away anyway, but I'll definitely get this one for Christmas. "Fatter and louder depths" to the sound? I didn't think it was possible!

I love The Ocean too, but another one they left out for me is Gallows Pole. Robert sings so well in it, and I just love the banjo playing in that song.
I appreciate you kindness but I am hoping to get this for Christmas. If I don't, I will cry and then go buy it to cheer myself up.

No Quarter better be on it.....the opening organ with the boom crash of the drum kit gets me very time..........XM radio has just dedicated a channell to our Led boys.......
