I just heard the sad news that Bass player Boz Burrell died on September 21st. I found this out over at Will and Ben's Record Room
and have cut and paste this from their site:
Originally a lead singer of his own band during the 60's Boz joined up with King Crimson in 1971 to play Bass, and then in 1973 formed Bad Company alongside former Free vocalist Paul Rodgers. The band were a major influence on many late 70's and 80's Rock bands including Foreigner, Rainbow, and Whitesnake.
I am disturbed that I can't find more about this in the news. My heart goes out to his friends and family.
