Deep Purple
Smoke on the Water, Fire IN the Sky....
Did you know that Smoke on the Water is the most played (by amateurs) guitar song of all times? I've only seen them once, and it was MANY years ago...but I will never forget the first time I heard the beginning of the song. Na Na Na - Na Na Na Na - Na Na Na - Na Na Na Na...
One thing for sure...they changed members so often it's hard to say who was really in the band officially. But to me ROGER GLOVER is Deep Purple - check him out back in this photo....back in the day he resembles a guy that has recently been in the top 12 on American Idol. (I think, my son disagrees).

Thanks for the comment and the tip to your sight(s)! I love music too! I'm very glad to have blogger friends. Maybe someday, the people closest to us will be more interested but in the meantime...How on earth do you manage so many blogs? I'm impressed. I can hardly write for one regularly. I get too caught up in reading and commenting...like now! lol Nice to meet you!
Where'd the photo go???? I promise I will find it again and post if for all of you Constantine fans
Piff. Sure shows what you know about Deep Purple when you post about the most well known Deep Purple song, and Roger wasn't even an original member. And to say he looks like a guy on American Idol is insulting. You really need to stop saying such dumb things. If you need to know about Deep Purple, just ask me and I can tell you everything you need to know, but for now, shut the fuck up you dumb whore
Nice comments from the person before me. Wow. Although I would not compare anyone or anything that is Deep Purple to American Idol either. Actually, I would put classic rock and American Idol on the same piece of paper.
