Barbara, I love this version also. If you haven't already...seek out Pete's first? solo album called Who Came First. Its a mostly acoustic album he recorded in his studio at home. There's a great song on there called Sheraton Gibson..as well as an early version of Pure and Easy.
and on a side note thanks for linking to my post on Lung Cancer...The more people know the facts, the sooner awareness will become a need.
I like very few songs better. Some as much, but few better. Maybe Stone Temple Pilots' "Plush" qualifies.
One I like better plugged in than in the original acoustic version is REM's "Drive." The up-tempo version they did (I think on an awards show) was much more fun.
Seano, thanks I will check it out for sure!! My pleasure about the lung cancer post. I would love to see your sister's dream of a rainbow ribbon come alive! If there is every anything at all I can do to help I'd be honored, just let me know.

David, wow, that's cool that this is one of your favorite songs. Its definitely a classic and I am going to check out the ones you mentioned. I've heard them but need to "re-visit"

Dream Theater is getting some new stuff going. I can't wait for them to tour again.
Two come immediately to mind, both from U2:
I think "Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of" from the 7 EP works really well.
Additionally, "Stay (Faraway, So Close!)" from the Live in Boston DVD is quite good.
