I was invited to share along with the bloggers listed below, what my top ten albums of '07 are. I have to say first off - thanks to those of you who read here. I have to smile sometimes because my old school taste (classic rock) is so different from what many of you like, but you keep stopping by. I thank you for that!
Good old rock and roll didn't have much for me this year, but as far as music that came out in 2007 this seems to be what I listened to the most:
So to all my metal hard rock fans, here is my list for 2007:
1. MAGIC by Bruce Springsteen
2. Mothership, (reissue) Led Zeppelin
3. Neon Bible, Arcade Fire
4. The Heroin Diaries, Sixx AM
5. Late Nights and Early Mornings, Miggs
6. Wincing the Night Away, The Shins
7. Sky Blue Sky, Wilco
8. It Won't Be Soon Before Long, Maroon 5
9. Icky Thump, The White Stripes
10. I can't think of a tenth one.....

From one old school rocker to another...MERRY CHRISTMAS
Nice list. We'll probably have one in common. I wonder which one...
I think most of the other lists won't be up until 12/28 if anyone is looking for them before Friday.
I hope you're feeling better Barbara and Merry Christmas!
One of my New Year's resolutions is to listen to more new music. I'm pretty lazy in that regard and I know I'm mising out on some good music.
By the way, I got Mothership for Christmas! And Raising Sand by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, AND the great Led Zep DVD released in 2003. So much great footage.
Merry Christmas everyone and have a great New Year. :)
for me "Neon Bible" is the album of the year, just for me, I hope next year would be a better year in music,
I have a 10th for you:
Dream Theater Systematic Chaos
Lifehouse also put out a decent new album this year but the title eludes me.
Velvet Revolver's Libertad was another enjoyable album for this year.
Good list--we've got one in common. from my much shorter best/worst list (one album winner, two runners up).
Happy New Year!

P.S. You also got a blog nod this year ...
We only have SIXX AM in common. I agree with you about Mothership, though. I debated that one and ultimately left Led Zep off my list.
Happy New Year!
