Top 50 Rock Bands
Each Friday I get an email from Dave White from About Classic Rock. There is usually something noteworthy and interesting so I will start posting his link here on Fridays. Today's has a VERY interesting list called "Top 50 Rock Bands" (click link above, it's the third article down). The stats are based on records sold, air time, tours and continuous popularity. He'll be listing the top 500, this is the first installment. I was surprised by a few....I'd love to hear your comments!

The B-52's shouldn't have been on there. I think Queen should've been higher. Number 18 or something like that. I definatly think that Metallica should've been on there. Everyone knew the Beatles were number 1 and well deserved too! WHERE WAS RUSH? One of the greatest drummers and bassists of all time and they're not on here? If Traffic was on there. Rush should've definatly been there. Top 30 at least.
The B-52's deserved to be there... who are you to say otherwise?
