Review of Bon Jovi Concert!

I want to thank my friend, Jessica, for sharing this review of her recent experience seeing Bon Jovi! (her blog is one of the one's I MUST read daily, check it out!)

On Wednesday I went to see Bon Jovi! I had seen him play twice before, and he always puts on an awesome show. This time was no different. It was a great experience… huge crowd, everyone was way into the music, and that made for a rocking atmosphere. There were tons of women, (what else would you expect at a Bon Jovi show?) single, married, and with their boyfriends…all falling over themselves for Jon.

He invited Daughtry up on stage to sing Blaze of Glory with him. It sounded great! Another thing I thought was cool is… when they played I love this town they had a slide show playing with images of stuff belonging to Atlanta. (the city where I was) Sports teams, landmarks, people, etc. Pretty neat!

They’re one of the only bands that I’ve seen… that play for a full two hours or longer. So much material…and they always find just the right mix of old and new stuff to play.

The show may be a little cheesy …but so what- you expect a little cheesiness from Bon Jovi.

I like the fact that Jon is really, genuinely into it (tons of energy) the entire time. He seems like he’s happy and loving what he his doing. That always makes for a great show. I loved it, loved it loved it!! :)

On a side note…I personally think he should have kept his hair, but that’s just me. I like the long hair rocker type. :) But, whatever length his hair is, Jon’s amazing voice gets me every time!

I couldn't go to the Atlanta show, but I was in Nashville and I have to say they always put on an awesome show. I was also lucky enough to go see them at the Mohegan Sun Casino in March.

I'm a fan club member so of course I always love them! ;-)
