I will pass. I did get to see Eddie play with Wolfy on the last VH tour with Sammy, and he was pretty good (and I am sure he is better now). But I have a really bad taste in my mouth after the whole Michael Anthony thing, which I still haven't head the full story about, so I'm sitting this one out.-- david
God help us all....afraid to see what the ticket prices are gonna be.
David...don't tell me the Michael A thing I don't want to not go. I'm old, I have to try and re-live my youth before I hit 50.Ray, yeah, that's the part that stinks.
Layla, I have seen the Eagles in all of their configurations, beginning back in 1975. I saw them 3 times in the 70's, 6 times between 1994 - 1996, and once in 2002. Though they were excellent performers, the last time I saw them will probably be the last. First, the ticket prices were hard to swallow ($200 each in 2002 and THAT wasn't even through a ticket broker) and then, many of the tunes has different arrangements, were played slower and the whole thing seemed like a corporate ploy to capitalize off of their previous fame and line their pockets. The bottom line is to enjoy yourself, but sometimes memories of days gone by can betray you when the reality has changed what you once remembered.
I'm looking forward much more to the Police tour!!-- david
I saw VH with Hagar in the 80's, but never with DLR. My wife hates Dave, so I'm sure I will be going without her.
