NOW, for the real topic of this post:
Do you guys think I am bragging when I share stories about meeting famous people (usually rock musicians)? Cause I am not bragging - but I feel funny about it sometimes like it comes across "oh look at me, I've met so and so and so and so".
I've just been in the right place at the right time a few times. I met Lindsey Buckingham in the '80s in Laguna Beach. He actually stopped and pet my dog - the coolest dog to ever live, I will brag about my Scooter! Then we (a gf was with me) had a few drinks at the "White House" (not the one in DC, the one in LB). I wasn't even sure it was him till he inrtoduced himself. He's a nice guy.
Anyhow. That was it. Not bragging, I just think its cool when stuff like that happens.

Nooooooooooo....I don't think you are bragging. You were very fortunate to be in the position that you were in.
Personally, I enjoy the stories; it's great to see what they are like through your eyes.

BTW I've heard that Lindsay is a sweetie, but he's pretty shy and nothing like the Rock star persona. Is that true ?
As Dizzy Dean once said, "it ain't braggin' ma'am, it's just fact." There's nothing wrong with letting people know you've met famous peeps. Over the years, I've met a few, and even know a handful from when they were kids here in my hometown. It's cool, isn't it?
It's ain't braggin' if it's true. So just keep 'em comin'.
I think it's cool......and knowing how you love rock-n-roll....it makes me happy for you....and I love hearing about it!!!
