Layla's Classic Rock was the first blog I started, back in November 2004. Its had some good conversations and fun times.
Its saddens me that I have let it go. I almost feel like giving it to someone "here, do you want my blog, make it alive again".
I just don't have the same passion for writing about music as I once did. This last year has been a very difficult one for me personally. My son's drug addiction, incarceration, etc. has taken a toll on me.
I hope someday I have the desire to come back and write something worthy of being read. But for now....Layla's will lie dormant as I focus on other areas of my life.

We're sorry to see this happen, Barbara. You contribute much life in your music contributions, but we understand how life's obstacles can get in the way. We hope the passion finds its way back.

It is a sad day indeed as through this blog, I was inspired to re-introduce my own. Thank you Barb, for all you have done, said and written about. I will follow you elsewhere.....sean
