New Springsteen Biography - No Split with Patti

Hey Bruce fans, hot off the press:

"Greetings From E Street"

Esteemed rock journalist Bob Santelli will soon publish a new book titled Greetings From E Street: The Story of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band-- the first and only collective biography of Bruce and his band written with participation from its members by a long-time intimate.

Over 200 photos, documents, handwritten notes, and souvenirs join tour stories, reminiscences, and little-known facts to give readers a full picture of one of the most iconic bands in American rock music.

For more information, visit, or to pre-order the book now, visit

Bruce had this to say about the rumors of his split with Patti. I would just like to go on record as saying that I think they will be together forever. :)

oooh, I think I want this. There's very little good biographical reading on The Boss's career.

You know, I just heard that rumor yesterday and it was presented as fact. I guess I need to keep my skeptical shield up!

Thanks for the update.

Ben, I'm going to ask for it for my birthday

I am always skeptical of the media but this time I based my opinion on what I "know" about Patti and Bruce. I was there when they fell in love...long story short - I had seats on the side of the stage at a concert (this is when he was married to what's her name) and it was pretty damn obvious by the looks they gave each other that they loved each other. The rest is history.

This is going to sound bizarre, but I feel a connection to Bruce because of his music and also because our birthdays are two days apart and his first son and my only son were born a month apart. I think of Bruce when I have my birthday and I think of Evan when I have Keven's birthday (their names even ryhme). I feel really silly for writing this hear, but hey, it's true.
