#1 song 43 years ago today! Even though this is a shortened version to fall under the 3:00 minute corporate soundbite generation, it still displays what The Doors were all about. I hope you enjoy it.
Come on baby light my fire...totally love this one. I love singing along to this song, trying out Morrison's deep voice :) Wonder what it would be like if he is still around. Awesome video!! thanks for sharing
Dan, my fire is lit~ THANK YOU for posting this. I was a very young kid (age 7) back then but I remember seeing The Doors on Ed Sullivan. I've been mesmerized ever since.
There has never been another like Jim Morrison - not even close.
Just love this. I used to play this every day when I was in college in the early 70s - much to the annoyance of my next door neighbour (but then he was doing Physics...)
The Doors were one of the most interesting bands of their time. The Soft Parade can't be beat with a stick! The first two albums were still the ones that really grabbed the masses, though. "C'mon Buick, light my fire..."

Loving it, loving it, loving it - can't whack People Are Strange though!
