Ok, this seems very like a bad idea to me because its promoting alcohol. In my opinion alcohol gets too much promotion as a "fun" thing to do as it is, so this is over the top. I do appreciate the originality but I will not be running out to buy a bottle of booze to find out how I can download Kid Rock's (or any other musician's) music. What do you think?
I am reaching out to let you know about a first-of-its kind opportunity in music and a great new way for your readers to toast the beginning of summer with music and the world’s number one selling Bourbon.
Jim Beam® Bourbon and Kid Rock are breaking new ground with a first-of-its-kind campaign alongside Atlantic Records, offering fans exclusive downloads of the new, unreleased song “Times Like These” from Kid Rock’s upcoming album and a compilation of live hits from his two-night, sold-out homecoming at Comerica Park last summer.
Kid Rock music downloads are not available online, so this innovative offer rewards both Jim Beam and Kid Rock fans with an opportunity to download some of their favorite music to enjoy with a glass of Bourbon this summer. This partnership marks the first time a spirits brand and major record label have worked together to distribute new music from an A-List artist in a non-traditional retail channel on such a massive scale.
Starting in May at participating retailers, consumers can check out special edition gift cartons of Jim Beam and Red Stag by Jim Beam™ to learn how they can download these exclusive Kid Rock offerings as well as join Jim Beam and Kid Rock in their commitment to supporting America’s heroes through Operation Homefront.
