I find it hard to believe that rock stars sit at home weeping because they weren't inducted, in fact I would find it hard to believe that they would actually be the slightest bit disappointed. A bands music will never go away, it is forever transferred to every new media outlet for everyone to hear. This isn't a sports player who's will only be known by future generations by numbers and early morning sessions of NFL Films on ESPN, music lasts forever!
(PS I would still like to SEE the R&R museum, I love looking at Rock memorabilia, but the awards, are a joke).

Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson were on "That Metal Show" on VH1 Classic a couple of weeks ago, and Eddie Trunk asked them what they thought of not being in the HOF yet. Both of them basically said, "Eh...", so it's not that big a deal to them.
As far as all HOFs go, I've always thought that, for the most part, it means more to the fans, and to most of the self-righteous and santimonious writers/reviewers/whatever you call them, than it does to the people being considered.
I just removed my comment asking what happened to your other blog after I read the sidebar with your note.
I'm glad you're still posting here, though, and will follow this one.
Hope all is well.
It still bums me out that bands like Rush,Yes,and Genesis are not in the RaRHoF. Prog rock has been ignored too long.
Thanks for the link! I just realized I had a typo in that post after reading that quote.
Drewzepmeister - You are exactly right! One of my biggest gripes with the HOF is it's complete disregard for everything prog.
Oh I am totally going to the Rock Hall. I want to see the Trebants from the Zoo Tour.
As to exclusions in the Hall....Can I just say THE STOOGES GOD DAMMIT.
Oh and Rush. Come on people.
