UPDATE! You people rock my world with your comments! Thank you. I needed a "boost" something to get my mind off things and now I have a project of finding these awesome songs. Music just makes life BETTER. I wasn't anticipating such a great response, it made my day.

ReplyDeleteSomeone said a song by Spirit. You need more than just the song, you need the entire '12 dreams of sardonicus' album. The one with 'Nature's way' on it.

ReplyDeleteI do agree with Rockin Jeff about listening to the whole album. That is where my musical listening taste lies. I do disagree with him about "best of" compilations. The Best of Spirit is one hell of an album and features the best of early Spirit from their self titled debut through Twelve Dreams. I could not have picked better songs to be a part of this one. I do also enjoy very much Twelve Dreams and highly recommend it all on its own.

i'm pretty much late posting a comment on this post. but i just wana sum up that any songs from Queen, Electric Light Orchestra, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater, David Bowie, George Harrison, Kansas, Journey, Midnight Oil, The Police, The Ramones, Styx...would be a great add to your list. especially the songs that weren't released as singles, like Nevermore, My Fairy King, It's Late, Prophet's Song by Queen to name a few.
