KLOS's "Top Ten Party Songs"

I was in the car for an hour or so and happened to catch KLOS's "Top Ten Party Songs".  What do you think of their list?  I'd switch it up a bit.  Will share mine in red:

10) Paradise City, Guns & Roses
9)  Roadhouse Blues, The Doors
8)  I Want to be Sedated, The Ramones
7)  Sweet Emotion, Aerosmith
6)  Crazy Train, Ozzy
5)  Rock and Roll, Led Zeppelin
4) Rock and Roll all Night, KISS
3) You Shook Me All Night Long, AC/DC
2)  Just What I Needed, The Cars
1) Baba O'Riley, The Who

  1. Nothing spells party like The KIngston Trio's version of "Bottle of Wine" :)

  3. Sean, good one!

OOPS - I never put my choices down. I think I would keep most of them but take off The Ramones and replace it but am too tired to think at the moment.

Flowers, thanks for stopping by. I love that song too!

  4. Their list isn't bad. Because KLOS is a "classic rock" station, I think they are missing some key non-classic rock party songs such as:

    Tubthumping by Chumbawamba

Shotgun by Jr. Walker and the All Stars

Get This Party Started by Pink

Got To Give It Up by Marvin Gaye

Friends In Low Places by Garth Brooks

Love Shack by The B 52s

    Hey Ya by OutKast

  6. I would add The Knack, My Sharona and Tom Petty, Mary Janes Last Dance....just because.

  7. There are some recent ones that I think are pretty good too:

    Jimmy Eat World The Middle
    Harvery Danger Paranoid
    The Refreshments Banditos
    Collective Soul Gel
    UB40 Red Red Wine
BareNaked Ladies If I Had a Million Dollars

Since KLOS is Classic Rock, I do understand the omission of the above tracks, however.

  8. Oh and D'OH! From the 90s, how could I forget these gems:

    Third Eye Blind Semi-Charmed Life
    Semisonic Closing Time
