ReplyDeleteI was at that show! It was awesome! Awesome awesome awesome! I didn't do it justice on my blog, either. But it was awesome! JPJ was awesome! November 23rd is supposedly when the album comes out, and I can tell you, if they don't include all 90 minutes from the show, I'll be disappointed because it was mind-blowing.
I hope that they plan some dates in Canada (specifically Ottawa) I really want to see these guys before I get squished by a bus.
ReplyDeleteI saw these guys on October 8 at the Fillmore in Detroit. In a word, these guys were "heavy". The sound was very influenced by Queens of the Stone Age for obvious reasons. They were tight, loud, and really looked like they were having fun... just a great show. Can't wait for the studio release.
