But if I absolutely had to pick one it would be....Wish You Were Here followed closely by Shine on You Crazy Diamond.

Don't know if I could pick a favorite song, but Wish You Were Here is definitely my favorite album.

I tend to be more of a fan of the older Floyd... Ummagumma comes to mind.

ReplyDeleteI'm partial lately to "Echoes," "Us and Them," "Astronomy Domine," and all of Wish You Were Here.
I agree, no doubt, best of all 'Wish You Were Here'.
ReplyDelete"Echoes" would easily stand at the top of my list. After that it gets really tough. It would be a mix of around ten songs or so including "Wots...Uh the Deal", "Brain Damage"/"Eclipse", "Shine On You Crazy Diamond", "Fat Old Sun", "Welcome to the Machine" and who knows what else. It's just all so good, I can't choose!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been listening to alot of See Emily Play along with the entire Piper At The Gates of Dawn album. also a big fan of Pigs (Three Different Ones), but my favorite all-time Floyd song is a toss up between Wish You Were Here and Us And Them.
