  2. Nice medicine. Lately, it's been all about opera's beautiful arias for me. They soothe and speak to me like nothing else.

I still go to NIN when I want to stay a bit angry though.

  3. Depends on my mood, but for some reason...The Counting Crows help me get back to center when I'm feeling sad and uncreative.

Also, lately BuckCherry has been helping too!

  4. The music of The Lovin' Spoonful never fails to lift my spirits. They didn't call it "goodtime music" for nothing.

  5. I usually listen to Weezer or the Beatles when I need some cheering up.

  6. Erin, I don't believe it.

Michael, could never get into it - but perhaps I should try harder?

Jess, Same here. Depends on the mood I am in and the one I want to create. Today I want to stay mellow and just let emotions pass as they will.

Malcolm, well heck...can't go wrong with their music. I even smiled reading that. And I am trying so hard NOT to smile today ;)

Jeff, I've been listening to Weezer lately too.

  7. Queensryche, Rush, Stevie Ray; stuff like that. If I'm in a bad mood, I pull out what I call my "angry" music- Disturbed and Tool.

  8. The Zombies, Time of the Season and the Robert Plant and Alison Kraus album lately.

  9. it depends on the mood but real uplifting music for me is Edgar winter, james gang, montrose, foghat, that real funky blues sound; the ultimate is to plug the ipod into speakers in the kitchen, cook, drink wine and listen to these tracks; my kids think i'm crazy (and then they listen to riahnna (go figure)

  10. Jayhawks for the downer mood. SRV for the kick-a** mood. Most blues stuff will get me back in the groove...

  11. Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby are my touchstones. AB is undoubtably their best album but JT is the one that is closest to my heart.

One Tree Hill gets me through pretty much every bad day I have.
