This is probably old news by now, but I just heard the Tom Petty will be the "headliner" at the halftime game on Superbowl Sunday this year. I wonder what songs he'll so. Its usually very entertaining but I haven't watched it in a few years. This year I probably will.
At first, I was a bit skeptical about Tom Petty's appearance during the halftime show of the Super Bowl. Although I like many of Petty's songs, I just didn't think he would make an ideal performer for The Super Bowl. However, I have been playing some of his songs in my head and I think he will pull it off.
ReplyDeleteMalcolm, I've seen TP live a few times and he LOVES his audience and really gets into performing, so it will all depend on the songs he chooses...Hmmm, That will be a good question to ask I'll save it here for closer to the big game :)

For me it's not the best choice but it's better than having something like the Spice Girls playing... I would assume he would throw in "Free Fallin" somwhere in there.
