California On Fire

Nothing much to post in these last few days. As you may have heard, Southern California is pretty much on fire. Its been hard to think about much else. But, speaking of FIRE, help me compile a list of songs with the word "fire" in the title. I'll name a few obvious ones off the top of my head, I know you all will think of lots more!

Fire - Jimi Hendrix

I'm On Fire - Bruce

Light My Fire - The Doors

The Fire Down Below - Bob Seeger

I feel completely inadequate, especially after the mad hatter's impressive effort! All I can think of is a song by a bad 80's hair band. Fire and Ice by Cinderella.

So instead I'll give you a lyric that I just love that's all about heat. It's the best I can do!

Gypsy girl, the hands of Harlem
Cannot hold you to it's heat
Your temperature's too hot for taming
Your flaming feet are burnin' up the street.

From Spanish Harlem Incident by Bob Dylan. Who else? ;)

My condolences to everyone in California by the way. We're just going into our fire season here in Australia and I know how bad it can get. It's just awful what has happened there.
