Rock n Roll Hall of Fame
It's that time of year again when the nominations are in for the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. I hate to say this, but I this is probably the least excited I've ever been about a list of possible inductees.

Patti Smith, Van Halen, The Ronettes, REM and The Stooges. Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five shouldn't even be nominated, in my opinion. They're hip hop, NOT rock. You wouldn't induct Led Zeppelin into the hip hop hall of fame, would you? Of course not.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Russ. How is it that a non-rock band gets nominated for the ROCK AND ROLL Hall of Fame??
ReplyDeleteEither way, VH and REM should be in there the first time around.
Frankly, it's all moot, because the R&R HOF is a joke when it comes right down to it.

ReplyDeleteBut its still fun to watch the show! The best one for me was watching Bono give the speech about Bruce, it was classic!
