I was the youngest by far during those screenings, all the bigger guys buying me drinks and admiring my lapping tongue patch on my denim jacket and my Velvet Underground T-shirt.

P.S. Thanks for the link Barbara. BTW It's Hans, not Han.

P.P.S. A review copy should arrive any day now. It's OK to be jealous.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11886706.post-63219755994002980322007-10-14T09:32:00.000-07:002007-10-14T09:32:00.000-07:00Angie, I always thought I was born in the wrong er...Angie, I always thought I was born in the wrong era too...I was a teen in the late 70's but as a child I watched my much older cousins go through the early 60's including losing one in Viet Nam.

Bruce, well, I haven't seen it in years so I will let you know what I think but I REMEMBER thinking it was GREAT :)Bar L.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11100008292699584336noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11886706.post-25029525084083242992007-10-14T08:28:00.000-07:002007-10-14T08:28:00.000-07:00I've seen the movie a couple of times, and was not...I've seen the movie a couple of times, and was not all that enamored with it, to be honest. Maybe it's because I've never been a huge Led Zep fan(I like them. I just don't get all verklempt over them); it just didn't do much for me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11886706.post-19939416018273059672007-10-14T03:35:00.000-07:002007-10-14T03:35:00.000-07:00I've never been a big movie watcher so I've only s...I've never been a big movie watcher so I've only seen bits and pieces of it, which is a bit odd considering they're my favourite band!

I would've loved to have been a teenager in the late 60's and early 70's. There just seemed to be a kind of purity and freedom in music and life that we don't have now, although it could just be me romanticising it all from afar.

I just watched the movie Esay Rider for the first time the other day. I think it just captured the spirit of the age and how everything was changing so much at that time. And what a soundtrack. I was born in the wrong era definitely!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
