That Queensryche CD looks intriguing as hell.

I like that "Welcome To The Machine" opens it. I worked at a record store when "Silent Lucidity" hit and people were always coming in looking "for that new Pink Floyd record."

I'll bet their version of "Bullet the Blue Sky" is fantastic, too.

Here's something funny that someone posted on my site about Queensrÿche.

Thanks for the link. I am fascinated by the Queensryche album, since I first read about it on Bob's site, and I'm willing to give AC/DC one more listen before I finally give up on the band.

Bob! That was hysterical. Makes me want to do a post on defining names of bands. But then just about anything makes me want to do a post on something :)

David, I don't listen to a lot of AC/DC but have to admit I like their good old classic hits. I mean who can not like Highway to Hell? Beautiful tune.

I have Take Cover and thought it was a decent effort, especially after the dismal past few albums they have put out (anything after Promised Land just did not do it for me). The texture of the songs is pretty thick all the way through and that makes some of the songs ("For What Its Worth", "Synchronicity 2") sound a bit odd, but others ("Neon Knights", "Heaven on Their Mind") sound pretty awesome. I think it is one of those albums that if you like Queensryche you will like it, but if you don't you may not.
